The Delta School's admissions process begins with a tour of the school. This tour can be parents only or include potential students and will feature learning spaces appropriate to the applicant's age. Tours are given to new applicants by appointment only. Interested applicants are then invited to complete an application and submit it to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration along with two letters of recommendation and all previous school records. A school representative will reach out to schedule a shadow day for your child(ren) with their class or an interview if a shadow day is not feasible. During the shadow day the applicant will follow a regular schedule with the class and should bring a water bottle and pack a healthy lunch. Shadow days are not intended to test a students academic achievement, but rather to observe how a potential student might engage with others and contribute to the learning environment.
Families that apply for admission may be asked to complete a personal interview with the Head of School. This interview is a time to meet your family and discuss questions, expectations and concerns. The interview is not to screen your child for ability but to provide a give and take opportunity to determine if the School and your family are a right match.
